Sportgreen per Lays

Sportgreen for Lays

Two pitches, two neighborhoods, one promise: sport changes suburbs

There's an invisible thread connecting Turin to Naples. It's not made of asphalt or steel, but of soccer nets, fresh paint, and the sound of a ball bouncing where there was once only abandonment. It's the thread of a project that Sportgreen had the privilege of building with their hands — and which bears the signature of Common Goal, with the support of Lays and the UEFA Foundation for Children.

In Turin, in the heart of the Aurora neighborhood, the Casa del Quartiere at Cecchi Point welcomed the birth of a new sports space. A pitch designed not just for playing, but for coming together. City officials and a special guest who knows the heart of this neighborhood were present at the inauguration: Claudio Marchisio, the Prince who grew up just a few steps away, whose mere presence gave the project the weight of a true story.

In Scampia, under the building of Municipality 8 — one of Naples' most complex and vital places — Sportgreen carried out the second intervention. Here too, a space recovered and returned to those who live there every day. At the inauguration, Ciro Ferrara and Frank Matano brought energy, visibility, and a simple message: the right to sport is not a privilege, it belongs to everyone.

Two construction sites, two cities, one method: build well, build where it's needed, build with those who believe in it. Because every pitch is a gamble on the future of a neighborhood — and we are proud to have taken it.
